This refers to bronze containing more than 11.5% aluminium and less than 15% aluminium. The composition of elements except aluminium is similar to that of common aluminium bronze.

Due to the difference of aluminium content, the strength of special aluminium bronze is twice as high as that of alloy steel and the hardness near alloy steel. It is widely used in force distribution parts, transmission parts and so on.

In addition, because of its good anti-corruption, anti-pressure and anti-wear ability, it is also used for transmission shaft gears of high-speed trains.

At present, China cannot produce in large quantities.
