Therefore, nickel is an important element-free copper alloy. Copper-nickel alloy is used as the base to participate in the third elements such as zinc, manganese, aluminum and so on. In response, they are called zinc, manganese and aluminium white copper plates. Copper-nickel alloys have good corrosion resistance, medium strength, high plasticity, heat and cold pressure processing, and good electrical properties. Besides being used as layout data, they are also important high resistance and thermocouple alloys.

White copper plate is divided into five categories: popular white copper plate, iron white copper plate, manganese white copper plate, zinc white copper plate and aluminum white copper plate.

Popular white copper plate has four kinds of alloy trademarks: B0.6, B5, B19 and B30. The commonly used ones are B19 and B30, and the series of trademarks in American scale is more. The white copper rod is a persistent solid solution composed of copper and nickel. It has a face-centered cubic lattice, as shown in Fig. 1-18. When the temperature is lower than 322 degrees, there is a relatively wide composition and temperature region of metastable differentiation in the phase diagram of copper-nickel. Adding third elements such as Fe, Cr, Sn, Ti, Co, Si and Al to the Cu-Ni alloy can change the composition of metastable differentiation, the scale and position of temperature region, and improve some properties of the alloy. Popular white copper sheet has superior cold and hot working properties. Successfully processed into plates, belts, tubes, rods, shapes, lines and other shapes. Welding properties are superior, such as soft, hard brazing, gas shielded arc welding and resistance welding can be stopped; cutting properties are 20% of free-cutting brass HPb63-3.
